Meta is expanding its Muse AI agent to small businesses, with connections to tools owners already use for sales, operations, and marketing. Meta says Muse can help owners run their business and find new customers, according to TechCrunch’s September 29 report.
Muse for Small Business is free with usage limits. Businesses can buy a subscription for more usage. TechCrunch does not give the subscription prices or the size of the free allowance, so owners still need those details to estimate an ongoing cost.
Business software and Meta accounts in one agent
The new integrations include Shopify, Dropbox, and Slack. Muse can also connect to Instagram professional account analytics, Facebook pages, and Meta ad accounts. Meta says the agent knows what a business sells, its brand voice, and the questions customers ask most often.
The other integrations named in the report are Asana, Box, Canva, Figma, Granola, HighLevel, Intuit QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Lovable, Notion, Stripe, and Zoom. Together, the list covers tools for accounting, payments, design, and team work alongside the sales and marketing connections.
Meta’s premise is that access to information across a business will make Muse more useful than a chatbot used on its own. The claim about finding customers remains Meta’s stated goal. The report provides no measured increase in sales or customer acquisition.
A business rollout after the consumer launch
Muse launched earlier in September and topped app charts in the United States and Canada ahead of ChatGPT, TechCrunch reports. The small-business launch follows Meta’s September 28 announcement of Meta Enterprise Platform, an initiative for businesses and corporate customers.
Meta hired MongoDB CEO Chirantan “CJ” Desai to lead that initiative. The company says it plans to bring Muse, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, Muse Code, and more to businesses and developers. The small-business offer gives owners a way to try Muse as Meta builds that broader business effort.
