ChatGPT Pro gets a $500 tier

Pro 500 adds Astra Ultrafast. Eligible Pro 200 users face a usage allowance cut after October 29.

OpenAI’s help page lists ChatGPT Pro 500 at $500 monthly, with Astra Ultrafast and the highest Pro usage allowance.

What each tier includes

All Pro plans include Pro models, Codex, deep research, image creation, memory and file uploads.

Pro 200 has more usage than Pro 100. The help page gives no numerical allowances or Ultrafast speed measurements.

The Pro 200 change

Pro 200 subscriptions reopen with lower allowances unless eligible for grandfathering. Eligible users keep their previous allowance through October 29, 2026, then receive less usage at the same price. OpenAI will email affected users.

Ultrafast uses included usage, then credits. Credits cannot unlock it on cheaper plans at launch, and cover only eligible features.
